For those who want to take in the views with a knowledgable guide
Your journey starts at our airport base with a friendly introduction and a quick safety briefing from your expert mountain biking guide.
Then, take off on a scenic flight over Lake Wānaka to your trailhead. Led by our knowledgeable guide, you'll enjoy a relaxed ride along the beautiful lakefront trail, taking in the stunning views at an easy pace. To top it off, the experience ends with a boat transfer, offering you the most effortless and scenic way to explore Wānaka’s natural beauty and high country terrain.

Terrain - Relatively flat, gravel trail along the lakefront.

Mountain Bike. Full-Suspension is required. E-bikes are allowed.

Personal protection equipment if required (elbow pads, knee pads, gloves)
Sunglasses or goggles

Nothing can be left in the helicopter. Come ready to ride, with a backpack if necessary.
GoPros and phones can be great to capture the day. Selfie sticks and drones are not allowed.
Try and be as compact as you can. We provide everything else you need for the day so try to fit your items in a small backpack.
If you do not have a bike and would like to rent, please let us know at the time of the booking and we can help you liaise with a rental store in Wanaka.
